Catalina Diaz is a Mexican American illustrator based in Aurora, IL. She graduated with a BFA in illustration from the American Academy of Art College in 2020. Since her time in college, Catalina has gone on to working on public art projects along with many personal projects. Her main muse, currently, are chickens in various hats or situations. She enjoys adding humor and playful colors into her art when given the chance. Watercolor is her preferred medium to make art with, but she is also experienced in using various traditional mediums along with using digital programs to create digital art as well such as Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, and Clip Studio Paint.
